Course Purpose: This course is designed to educate visitors of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Space Weather page about United States (U.S.), Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) Space Weather Products & Services, many of which are available through the WMO Space Weather Portal.

By the end of this course, you will be able to describe Space Weather Services, locate additional information regarding the basic science behind space weather, use the NOAA Space Weather Product Tool, and identify the basic needs of several different types of space weather customers.
